My thought is somehow my steam version of RDR2 has not been linked with my social club account.Īny help is much appreciated! I've been stuck for days and feel like I've scoured every website and reddit post looking for answers. Basically the only thing I haven't done so far is updated my BIOS. I submitted a support ticket to rockstar but haven't heard back. I've even gone as far as upgrading from windows 7 to windows 10. I've messed with settings and launching as administrator. When I try to launch the RDR2.exe file directly it opens rockstar games launcher then says "Your social club account does not own Red Dead Online". When I run RDR2 from the steam library it opens Rockstar games launcher and it executes the RDR2.exe file but that quickly goes to a black screen and crashes. I've updated everything I can think of and tried messing around with a ton of settings. I've tried uninstalling the launcher, social club, and RDR2 multiple times. My social club account is linked to my steam account. Instead it shows "Red Dead Online" and the "Play on steam button". The game does not show up in my library on the rockstar games launcher. I bought RDR2 on steam 2 days ago and have been trying everything I can to get it working.
